Before you put it on
Finish with perfume, lotion and hair products first, then put on your jewelry. Direct contact with chemicals and moisture can affect the look and longevity of natural materials and metal components.
Take your piece off before showering, swimming, exercising or cleaning. Keeping it dry is one of the simplest ways to protect it.
After wearing
Gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth. Pay attention to beads, pearls, clasps and the areas that rest against your skin. Avoid soaking it or using household cleaners.
Store it separately in a soft pouch or box so it is less likely to tangle, rub against other jewelry or be pulled by accident. Fasten the clasp before storing a necklace or bracelet.
If something needs attention
Handcrafted jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed, and sometimes a small repair is needed. Z Artisan Jewelry offers a two-month warranty for minor repairs resulting from normal wear and tear, such as clasps or jump rings, at no additional cost.
